In 2004 the NISMO squad campaigned the 350Z in the Japan GT Championship, replacing the GT-R after many seasons. The Xanavi Nismo Z, powered by a 2987cc V6 twin-turbo, was driven by Satoshi Motoyama and Richard Lyons and took wins in Round 1 and Round 6 to secure the 2004 driver and team titles.
This Tamiya 1/24 scale kit recreates the race car that topped the 2004 JGTC. At 195mm long and 84mm wide the model captures the widened fenders and stretched front and rear overhangs. The front air intake is fitted with nylon mesh for realistic texture, and the die-cast under panel adds weight and comes pre-coated black to simplify assembly. Metal transfers are supplied for mirrors and the Nissan emblem, while the tyres feature pad-printed markings. A display base with a nameplate is included for presentation.
