The Tamiya 18609 Torcruiser sits in the Mini 4WD PRO line as a compact racer that blends clever engineering with practical serviceability. Built around the MS chassis, its three-part detachable frame makes setup and maintenance straightforward while supporting chassis tuning for better lap times. The mid-ship motor arrangement, driven by a type 130 double shaft motor, helps balance mass and stabilise the car under speed.

The transparent polycarbonate body is lightweight and durable, letting builders show off masking and paintwork using polycarbonate paints. Small diameter wheels and a super speed 3.5:1 gear ratio favour high straight-line speed on competition lanes. Batteries fit either side of the motor to keep the center of gravity low for improved cornering.
