The Tamiya 18601 Nitro Thunder Blue is supplied fully assembled as a Mini 4WD, blending race-oriented engineering with collectible looks. It uses the MS chassis with a three-part detachable layout and a mid-ship motor placement that routes power directly to the front and rear wheels, removing the need for a propeller shaft and helping to centralise weight for better balance. The shell is moulded from durable ABS plastic and echoes the styling of Nitro Thunder and Nitro Force buggies for an authentic appearance.

The car is fitted with a type 130 double shaft motor that delivers solid drive suitable for display runs and competitive heats.
