The Tamiya 15478 Ball Link Mass Damper is a compact weight assembly for Mini 4WD racers looking to stabilise cars on tracks with rises and drops. It uses ball link connectors to mount securely while allowing useful movement under load.
Built around a 6x6x32mm block weight, this damper helps reduce the vehicle's center of gravity to limit roll and tip during fast sections. It is directly compatible with AR and MA chassis. With the separately sold stay it can be adapted for MS, VS, Super-II, Super XX, Super X and Super TZ-X types, though some chassis may need small adjustments to fit.
On courses with elevation changes the Tamiya 15478 improves balance and cornering predictability. The supplied FRP stay gives flexible mounting positions so you can fine tune placement for a given track layout and setup.
