The Tamiya 15445 Large Diameter Low-Profile Tire & Wheel Set is a targeted upgrade for Mini 4WD racers who want more tuning flexibility. Built for on-track performance, the lightweight construction helps lower jump shock and gives teams a 31mm option to complement the common 26mm tyres.

Each package contains a pair of black low-profile tires and white dish-type wheels. The wheels use a six-rib dish pattern for good stiffness and are offset by 5.3mm. They fit machines using 60mm hex axle shafts, including MS and VS chassis types. Compatible with both Mini 4WD and Mini 4WD PRO cars, this set is useful for competitors refining ride height and jump behaviour.

Will these 31mm tires change gearing or speed noticeably?

The larger 31mm diameter slightly alters effective gearing and top speed compared with 26mm tyres. Expect a small change to lap times that should be tuned with motor and gear choices rather than assumed to be purely negative.

Are these wheels strong enough for competitive use?

The dish wheels have six reinforcing ribs for good rigidity. They are designed for race use on MS and VS chassis, but inspect for damage after heavy impacts to keep performance consistent.
