• The 2-stroke, 3-cylinder Honda NS500 replaced the NR500 the 1982 period. After a disappointing 1st length, the NS500 shined in 1983 taking out the championship due to the young 21-year-old Freddie Spencer through the helm. Spencer's duration long name fight with threetime world champ Kenny Roberts produced perhaps one of the most exciting durations in reputation for GP battle.
