The Serpent 804009 Natrix 748-e brings precision engineering to the 1/10 electric touring class, built for drivers who refine setup lap after lap. Designed by Michael Salven and Nacho Lopez, this kit uses advanced materials and race-oriented geometry to deliver predictable handling on asphalt circuits.
The backbone is a 3mm carbon fiber chassis CNC machined for consistent flex and strength. Its symmetrical layout balances torsion evenly, while the independent double wishbone layout and RCM SS shock absorbers provide tunable response across a variety of track surfaces.
Power is routed through a 4WD layout using kevlar reinforced timing belts for efficient transfer to all four wheels. Front and rear gear differentials smooth torque delivery, enabling the Natrix 748-e to exceed 105 km/h. The aluminium motor mount also acts as a mid-shaft support to help centralize mass and aid quick gear changes.
Fine tuning is built in from the steering blocks to camber and caster settings, letting racers tailor handling to their driving style. Ballraced anti-roll bars and a low center of gravity steering/servo setup add agility and reduce steering inertia for crisp cornering.
For experienced racers who prioritise setup and consistency, the Serpent 804009 Natrix 748-e is a race-ready platform that rewards careful tuning and quality components.
