The Serpent 600035 Cobra 811 Truggy TE represents a high-end approach to 1/8 scale nitro truggies, engineered for competitive racing. Drawing on Billy Easton's development of the Cobra Buggy, this truggy blends proven geometry with strengthened components for longer life on the track.

Durability and handling refinements

This Cobra 811 Truggy TE focuses on consistent handling rather than raw hype. New diff-couplers and upsized bearings reduce wear under race loads, while updated steering blocks and uprights improve long term reliability during heavy use.

Chassis and suspension tuned for track control

The 3mm 7075 T6 aluminium chassis is machined to balance flex and stiffness, giving predictable landings and sharper turn-in. A front kick-up angle adds stability, and composite stiffeners at each end increase torsional strength. Oversized lower arms and a ball-raced anti-roll bar let you fine tune roll and reduce friction.

Drivetrain and braking explained

The compact gear differential uses metal sintered gears and delivers a 4.3:1 drive ratio for strong acceleration out of corners. The piston-style brake with adjustable bias uses fibreglass discs to provide dependable stopping power when approaching high speed sections.

Medium compound, block-pattern tyres offer good bite on rough clay. Pair them with foam inserts that support sidewall stability to reduce roll.
