The Serpent 600023 SRX8 RTR is built for competitive club racing and weekend track sessions. This 1/8 scale buggy includes a .21 Serpent pull-start engine that balances reliable starting with track-focused power. Its 4WD cardan shaft drivetrain provides consistent traction and controlled handling across mixed surfaces.

Stiff aluminium chassis for predictable handling

A 3mm 7075 T6 aluminium chassis plate gives the SRX8 a stiff backbone for precise setup work. The front kick-up angle helps protect the car on heavy landings, while countersunk holes and accurate slots keep suspension mounts positioned correctly. Composite sideguards add protection and increase torsional rigidity.

Tuneable suspension and precise steering geometry

Oversized composite nylon arms and adjustable downstop screws let you fine tune ride height and travel for different tracks. The angled steering arrangement with composite blocks and 10-degree C-hubs sharpens turn-in and improves on-power steering feel.

Engine system and tuned-pipe performance

The supplied Serpent pull-start engine offers straightforward starting and consistent output for race conditions. The polished inline tuned pipe delivers a strong exhaust note and helps with midrange punch, while the 3-shoe racing clutch smooths power delivery for clean acceleration.
