Serpent 410001 S120 1/12 Pan Car Precision Chassis

The Serpent S120 pushes 1/12 scale pan car design forward with a focus on adjustability and robust build quality. Machined components and a thin carbon chassis give racers a responsive, controllable base that stands up to competitive use.

Adjustable Front-End for Track Versatility

The front layout on the S120 features fixed lower arms with a central support and rubber O-rings for controlled movement. Grey anodized aluminium upper wishbone mounts provide selectable caster settings so drivers can tune turn-in and corner speed for different track layouts.

One-Piece Rear Motor Pod for Strength

Serpent machines the rear motor pod from a single piece of aluminium to keep the drivetrain aligned and rigid. This solid construction helps the chassis resist crash damage while accommodating modern brushless motors and tidy cable routing.

Fine Tuning Via a Dedicated Tweak Station

The integrated tweak station uses grub screws in spring steel blades to let racers dial in chassis flex and tension. It also doubles as the mounting point for the carbon antenna rod, keeping adjustments repeatable and easy to access between runs.

Lateral Monoshock and Central Shock Interaction

A laterally mounted monoshock works with a central, oil-filled shock to control flex between chassis and motor pod and to improve rear traction on acceleration. The central shock uses a soft blue spring that can be tuned for down stop and travel.

Durable Ball Differential and Adjustable Axle Setup

The ball differential uses quality steel balls and hardened plates for predictable slip and long life, adjusted via a plastic nut. The lightweight graphite rear axle sits in eccentric composite inserts and bearings to let racers alter ride height quickly.

Built for racers who want a tunable, race-capable 1/12 pan car, the S120 combines stiff construction with a wide range of setup options to help drivers refine handling and lap times.

The S120 is aimed at hobbyists with some setup experience; its level of adjustability gives better results when the driver knows how to tune camber, caster and flex settings.
You will need to supply a motor, ESC, batteries, steering servo, radio system, tyres and a body shell to complete the Serpent 410001 S120 build.
The lateral monoshock reduces unwanted flex between chassis and motor pod, helping the rear stay planted during acceleration and smoothing traction transitions in corners.
Yes, the battery mounts allow you to move cells front or rear to alter the weight balance and tune traction and steering response.
