The Serpent 401639 chassis is a direct-fit upgrade for the Serpent Eryx 4.0. Built from 2.0mm ultra-stiff carbon, this plate is tuned for high-traction circuits where minimizing chassis flex helps maintain consistent lap times. Its rigid construction improves straight-line stability and sharpens steering feel for track-oriented setups.

Selecting the Right Chassis by Surface

Serpent supplies three chassis options for the Eryx 4.0, each matched to different surfaces and driving styles:

• 401639 - Carbon 2.0mm: Suited to very high traction tracks because of its stiffness and limited flex.
• 401640 - Aluminum 2.0mm: Favoured on indoor carpet circuits, offering balanced handling, a lower centre of gravity and measured flex.
• 401641 - Carbon 2.25mm: Better for outdoor asphalt where a touch more compliance can help mechanical grip.

Each chassis changes load transfer and response, so you can tune handling to the track and your driving style. Choose carbon for maximum rigidity or aluminium for a more forgiving chassis feel.
