The Serpent 400032 Project 4X PRO brings focused handling and tunability to the 1/10 touring class, blending a revised chassis layout with race-oriented suspension choices. It evolves the 4X EVO concept to deliver a platform suitable for club nights and higher level competition.
The updated rear geometry improves steering response and broadens the setup window, especially on medium to high grip asphalt. These revisions help increase rear stability while preserving midcorner agility for both stock and mod racers.
Moving to a horizontal topdeck delivers more steering bite. The 2mm carbon fibre chassis includes extra holes for flex tuning and a keyed topdeck to reduce unwanted chassis shifts between runs.
The 4X PRO uses compact roll dampers with through rod piston systems, removing the need for membranes and improving balance. The large heave damper fitted with machined pistons allows precise rebound adjustment for different track characters.
Designed by David Ehrbar, the 4X PRO has recorded ETS A final results and solid placings at IFMAR events, showing the strength of its race-focused engineering and setup options.
For racers who enjoy setup work, the Serpent 400032 Project 4X PRO provides a stable base and responsive handling to tackle a variety of asphalt tracks.
