Shock Bushing Upgrade for Eryx 4.0

The Serpent 160147 Big Bore Shock Bushing Set is made for the Eryx 4.0 1/10 EP touring car and uses a new low-friction compound. Finished in a yellow/orange tone, these bushings are built to deliver smoother damper travel and improved durability under racing conditions. A solid choice for drivers wanting crisper suspension feedback and longer service intervals.

Low-Friction Compound Benefits

The advanced low-friction material reduces internal friction for cleaner shock movement and less component wear. That lower resistance helps shocks operate more consistently lap after lap while extending the working life of suspension parts.

Machined to Fit Big Bore Shocks

Each bushing is precision machined for true roundness and tight tolerances to match Big Bore shock dimensions. Whether replacing worn parts or upgrading your setup, these bushings ensure dependable alignment and smooth performance.

  • Compatible with Serpent Eryx 4.0 1/10 EP touring car
  • Includes 4 pieces per set
  • Made from low-friction material to reduce wear
  • Specifically designed for Big Bore shocks
These bushings are cut to suit the geometry of the Eryx 4.0 Big Bore shocks. They may fit other models only if those shocks share identical internal dimensions, otherwise modification could be required.
Lower friction gives smoother piston travel and reduces heat and wear at pivot points, which helps maintain consistent damping and prolongs the life of the shock internals.
Clean the shock shaft and bore before fitting, inspect for burrs, and press the bushings evenly into place. Check for free movement after assembly and re-check after a brief run.
