Race-grade engineering from Serpent S240 420002
The Serpent S240 420002 delivers race-oriented engineering for drivers who demand consistent lap times and fine-tuned handling. This pan car combines thoughtful layout with quality components to perform on busy club tracks and organised events.
Front geometry refined for sharper cornering
The front assembly uses carbon and anodized aluminum parts to improve contact patch control. Soft silicone grommets let the suspension pivot freely while machined aluminum steering blocks and nylon inserts give smooth, predictable steering response. Adjustable toe-in and hardened track rods make set-up straightforward for different grip levels.
Carbon chassis with built-in flex tuning
A 1.5mm carbon fiber chassis is tuned for a balance of stiffness and controlled flex, helping the car rotate through mid corner. The upper radio plate is also carbon and includes an anodized aluminium antenna mount, plus space to fit popular speed controllers and radio systems for easy electronics installation.
Rear drivetrain tuned for consistent power delivery
The rear axle mounts accept adjustable motor positions to explore different gear ratios. A ball-raced differential with plates and 12 steel balls gives reliable torque transfer, while the supplied 42T spur gear and 10T pinion suit high-speed on-road layouts, with alternative gearing options available for fine tuning.
Robust running gear and purposeful bodywork
Machined aluminium rear wheel adaptors keep wheel runout low and the foam racing tyres on closed dished wheels provide predictable traction. The rear bumper protects internal components and the lightweight 0.5mm pre-cut, painted GTP body shell improves airflow and weight distribution for consistent handling.
