Track-Focused Engineering for the ROCHE Rapide

The ROCHE 152020 Rapide F1 EVO2 Competition Kit is a finely tuned 1/10 scale race platform built for precise setup work. This USA spec kit uses race-grade materials and a flexible tuning range to help experienced drivers dial in handling for club and national circuits.

Graphite Chassis Layout

The main chassis architecture centers on a new graphite layout including a lower pod plate and rear pod plate, all cut from 2.25mm USA high-grade graphite. The lightweight yet stiff construction trims mass while adding torsional rigidity so cornering remains sharp and consistent.

Adjustable Geometry for Setup Control

Setup options are extensive on the EVO2. The adjustable wheelbase lets you shift the front suspension fore and aft by +/- 5mm to influence turn-in and balance. The car also includes five camber positions and four caster settings to tune tire contact patch and steering feel.

Durable Steering and Dampers

A 7075 aluminum front bulkhead and reinforced servo mount add strength where it matters, while the steering arm mount provides straightforward Ackerman tweaks. The DVS-V3 center damper with low friction side tubes, plus a big bore short center damper and short spring, give a controlled, responsive ride.

Aluminium Motor Mount and Rear Assembly

The motor mount and rear bulkhead are machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in a red and black anodized look that also helps heat transfer. The center pivot offers selectable high and low positions to suit different handling preferences and drive styles.

The ROCHE Rapide F1 EVO2 is aimed at advanced hobbyists and racers who prioritise a tunable platform and race-proven materials for refined handling and setup flexibility.

Standard 1/10 scale brushless motors and 2-3S LiPo packs are compatible; check motor can spacing against the aluminium motor mount before final installation.
Move the front chassis mounting points by +/-5mm to alter weight distribution and steering response. Small increments are recommended when testing on track.
Replacement graphite pod plates and chassis pieces are commonly sold separately; keep a spare lower pod plate for wear-prone areas.
Try increasing rear wing angle and using a lower center pivot setting to add rear traction, along with small increases to rear toe-in if needed.
