When you swap tyres between heats or practice sessions, this tape helps keep the tyre seated and reduces mid-run slippage. The adhesive strength is tuned for high-speed use, making it a practical choice for club racing and timed runs.

Fitting Guide

Make sure the wheel is clean and free of oil or dust before application to maximise adhesion. Cut the tape to the needed length, press it onto the wheel, then mount the tyre and press firmly to seat it onto the adhesive layer.

Can I use this tape on tyres wider than 8.5mm?

The tape is optimised for 8.5mm narrow tyres. Using it on wider tyres may not give the same secure fit and could require additional layers or a different tape width.

Is the tape reusable after removal?

Once removed the adhesive backing loses effectiveness, so it is best practice to apply a fresh length each time you fit tyres for reliable grip.

Will the tape leave residue on painted wheels?

Some adhesive residue can remain on painted or finished wheels; clean with isopropyl alcohol or a mild solvent after removal to protect the finish.
