The RC scene keeps advancing, and the Kyosho 32423BL Toyota Prius PHV MA-03F shows how MINI-Z can evolve. This Readyset debuts the series first front-wheel-drive chassis, delivering authentic FWD feel and accurate scale looks for collectors and drivers alike.
Kyosho rethought the MINI-Z layout to focus on FWD traits. With the MA-03F chassis placing the motor behind the front axle in a front midship arrangement, steering response and balance are improved. That layout reproduces the on-road behavior of real front-wheel-drive cars while offering a distinct driving character compared with RWD MINI-Z models.
The Syncro KT-531P transmitter is supplied to manage the MA-03F. It includes steering trim, throttle trim, dual rate, LED controls and a sponge steering wheel for a controlled feel. The unit runs on FHSS 2.4GHz for stable links, but note it will not pair with older ASF, MHS or FHS gear.
Owners can tune the MA-03F to match driving style with three wheelbase settings: M (90mm), L (94mm) and LL (98mm). The chassis accepts an optional gyro module (MZW431) that can be adjusted on the chassis or via the KT-432PT transmitter (both sold separately) to refine stability and cornering behavior.
The Kyosho 32423BL Toyota Prius PHV MA-03F suits hobbyists who want a compact model with true-to-life FWD dynamics and room for tuning. Its Readyset format and upgrade options make it easy to start driving and to develop handling over time.
