Vosper MTB 74 1/35 Scale Replica From the St Nazaire Raid

In March 1942 the St Nazaire Raid saw British Royal Navy ships and Commandos strike the German dry dock. The operation, codenamed "Chariot", featured the specially modified Vosper MTB 74 with foredeck torpedo tubes and engine silencers to reduce detection. The MTB 74 helped breach harbour defenses and launched torpedoes but was lost during the action.

The Italeri 5619S kit recreates this vessel in 1/35 scale using newly developed moulds and fine photo-etched parts to improve authenticity for collectors and scale modellers. The build requires careful assembly and finishing; paint and glue are not supplied.
