The Italeri 1419S model kit gives builders a close look at two landmark designs from the Joint Strike Fighter competition: the Boeing X-32A and the Lockheed Martin X-35B. Created during the 1990s JSF program, these two prototypes highlight different engineering approaches, from the X-32A's delta wing and prominent intake to the X-35B's STOVL-capable layout that led toward the F-35 lineage.
This 1/72 scale release lets hobbyists assemble both conventional and short take-off and vertical landing versions, offering hands-on experience with each aircrafts distinctive shapes and control surfaces. The dual-kit format is suited to display builds and comparative modelling projects.
