The Italeri 1334S kit models the Macchi MB-326K, an aircraft that evolved from a two-seat trainer into a capable single-seat ground attack jet. Developed in the 1950s, the prototype used the Bristol Siddley Viper powerplant and went on to see service with more than ten air forces.
This MB-326K variant in the kit is shown with its upgraded turbojet and an operational load capacity of up to 1800 kg, including bombs, rocket pods and gun armaments. The injection-moulded parts capture those systems so modellers can assemble a faithful small-scale representation.
