Upgrade Rear Traction with HUDY 816303D-S Soft Tires

When it comes to optimising your 1/10 scale RC car for off-road runs, tyre choice makes a big difference. The HUDY 816303D-S soft compound rear tires are built for both 2WD and 4WD rear applications, delivering reliable grip and steadier control on dusty dirt circuits.

Traction Gains on Loose Surfaces

The softer compound on the HUDY 816303D-S tyres increases contact and bite on loose and gritty terrain. That extra traction helps reduce unwanted slides and improves corner exit stability for more consistent lap times.

Rear-Focused Fitment for 2WD and 4WD

These rear tyres are sized and profiled to suit a wide range of 1/10 off-road cars, fitting common rear rims for both 2WD and 4WD setups. Their construction balances performance with durability for regular club use.

Mounting and Care Advice

  • Clean the rim and bead area thoroughly before gluing to remove dust and old adhesive.
  • Apply a tyre-specific glue evenly around the bead to secure the tyre to the rim.
  • Inspect tread and sidewalls after each session and swap tyres when grip noticeably drops.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These tyres are tuned for loose and dusty dirt; on hardpack they will wear faster and offer less bite. For firm surfaces consider a harder compound.
Use a tyre-specific adhesive designed for foam or rubber beads. Apply in thin, even layers and allow full cure before running to avoid delamination.
Check for flattened tread, sidewall cracking, or a clear loss of grip. Replace when performance drops or physical damage appears.
