The Sikorsky UH-34D Choctaw holds a notable place in aviation history, first flown on March 8, 1954 and used across several military services before standardization as the H-34 Choctaw in 1962. Powered by the Wright R-1820-84 radial engine, the type could carry 12 to 16 troops or be configured as a MedEvac with room for eight stretchers.
The Hobby Boss 1:72 model portrays the Choctaw with careful molding and fine surface detail, giving modelers a chance to recreate an authentic airframe. The kit includes parts that reflect the original structure, making it a worthwhile addition for display collections and dioramas.
