This 1/72 rendition of the Soviet Krasnaja Zvezda armoured draisine recreates a unique WWII experiment, reflecting the December 1941 adaptation that used a KV tank turret and V-2K Diesel power. The prototype entered service in February 1942 and the model captures the engineering spirit of that period.
The static assembly kit is engineered with accuracy and comprises more than 60 pieces arranged across four sprues plus an upper hull. Measuring 160.8 mm long and 45.48 mm wide, it conveys the compact but imposing silhouette of the original armoured train. New tooling improves surface detail and part fit for a cleaner finish.
Once completed, the model makes a strong addition to any WWII display case or diorama setup. Its blend of historic interest and fine moulding makes it suited to shelf displays alongside tracked and railborne subjects.
