The BAE Systems Hawk, originally the Hawker Siddeley Hawk, is a well known British single-engine jet trainer that first flew in 1974. Valued for its adaptability, the Hawk has served as both a trainer and a cost-effective combat asset, with more than 900 airframes produced worldwide. This particular release represents the Hawk T MK.67 export variant used by the South Korean Air Force.
The Hobby Boss 1/48 scale Hawk T MK.67 model kit offers a precise build with over 180 parts arranged on 13 sprues. Major surfaces like the fuselage and wings are modelled to reflect the real aircraft profile, and included photo-etched components add finer detail to cockpit and engine areas. Builders who enjoy careful assembly and extra finishing work will find the detailing rewarding.
When finished, the model measures 273.6mm long with a 207mm wingspan, making it a standout on a shelf or diorama. Its scale accuracy and clean surface detailing make it a strong choice for aviation collections and display groupings.
