The 1989 Honda NSR500 is a milestone in Grand Prix history, claimed to fame with Eddie Lawson piloting it to the WGP500 title. This Hasegawa kit reproduces the look and engineering cues of that iconic machine, aimed at modellers who value period accuracy and authentic detailing.
The NSR500 made headlines with its V-type four-cylinder layout and competitive chassis. Under chief mechanic Erv Kanemoto, Eddie Lawson moved across from Yamaha and secured the championship aboard this bike. The model reflects that racing heritage with faithful styling and team liveries.
This release uses a new mold to achieve fine fit and crisp surface detail. The crank style V-engine is modelled with care, the rear suspension shows clear articulation, and the cowl shapes match the prototype. Builders can choose between inverted or upright front fork assemblies to mirror period setups.
