The Nissan Sunny Truck first appeared in 1971 and became a practical workhorse across Asia thanks to its compact chassis and fuel economy. Its long body deluxe early type was prominent in the mid 1970s, and access in North America expanded only after tariff changes in the early 2000s.
This Hasegawa 1/24 scale kit recreates the early long body deluxe Sunny Truck (GB120) with close attention to the era correct shapes and trim. The release targets modelers who appreciate authentic detail from the 1973 to 1979 production run.
The kit adds newly sculpted components including a period front grille, wheel caps, a detailed steering wheel and refined seat parts. These upgraded pieces help capture the early version's distinctive look and reward careful assembly and finishing.
Finished dimensions are compact at roughly 175 mm long by 63 mm wide, making the model easy to display. The kit also allows builders to choose between standard and lowered ride heights for subtle visual variation.
