The mount uses an internal spring to absorb shocks on landings and jumps, while the supplied ROADTECH body clips are sized for 1:16 and 1:18 shells and outperform tiny e-clips in retention. When fitted correctly the posts let you remove the shell in about two seconds so you can get to batteries and electronics quickly.
