The Yokomo Y2-RMC04RA red motor mount is engineered to improve thermal control for YD-2R series RC cars. Constructed from aluminum, it incorporates a heatsink-style profile to draw heat away from rear-mounted motors where airflow can be restricted during track sessions.

Enhanced Heat Flow from Finned Design

Compared with standard mounts, this unit adds multiple heat dissipation fins to expand surface area and aid cooling. That extra surface contact helps keep motor temperatures in check during long runs, especially in rear motor layouts.

Seven-Step Motor Height Adjustment

The mount offers seven fixed gearbox positions so you can fine tune motor height around the top shaft axis. Additional lower mounting holes extend the adjustment range beyond the stock 6-stage YD-2R setup, making it easier to dial in belt tension and handling balance.
