Built for off-road hobbyists, the Yokomo S4-SB1325 blank piston fits 13mm SO/MO shock absorbers and measures 2.5mm thick. Guide marks on the piston make it simple to drill 2 to 6 holes with a pin vise so you can tune damping for different surfaces and driving styles.

How many holes can I drill and what does that change?

You can drill between 2 and 6 holes using a pin vise. Changing the hole count alters internal flow and lets you experiment with firmer or softer damping to suit track conditions.

Best practice for drilling the piston?

Use a fine pin vise and align with the guide marks, drill slowly and deburr the edges. Test the piston in a shock and adjust as needed before race use.
